Signoria Baptista (Hannah Gray)is one overwhelmed mother. She has a younger daughter (Eliza Jeffries) who every bachelor in Padua wants to marry and an older daughter (Ava Smith) who is so ill-tempered that no one wants to even be in the same room. Fortune-seeking Petruchio (Sean Hecock) comes to town seeking a wealthy bride. Self-serving Hortensio (Josh Haycock) just happens to suggest Kate, and Petruchio agrees to meet her and marry her. And so the games begin. Petruchio is determined to tame Kate’s waspish ways by being more shrewish than she. But in the end, who is the real winner? Mistaken identity, foolish servants, witty dialogue, and a hysterical evening awaits audience members.
