Dear Parents and Students,

The High School has several updates that we want you to know about in regards to the school closure and
Distance Learning that is taking place at this time. We would like to thank everyone for working hard through
this unique time that we are experiencing.

– It is important for students to know that second semester classes will count towards graduation
requirements. This means that students do need to do the work assigned for each of their classes.
Currently, students will not receive late grades for anything turned in late, but in a few weeks that could
change.
-Quarter 3 make up work can still be turned in and the grades will be re-posted toward the end of April.
-Quarter 4 midterm is scheduled for Friday, May 1st. Those midterm grades will be posted to Infinite
Campus on Monday, May 4th.

-Semester Exams will not be taking place at the end of the year and an alternative will be figured out
and explained to students sometime in the next few weeks.

-Parents, please update phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses in Infinite Campus if any
information has changed. That way we can get information sent out and you can stay connected
better.
-Google Classroom – Parents are not able to sign up as a student in a Google Classroom, but you can
sign up to get the weekly digest from the Google Classes. Signing up once gets you updates from all of
your student’s teachers.
-Support your Belgrade Schools Special Olympics Team by purchasing the MTN Chevy Raffle Tickets
online! To purchase raffle tickets, go to https://www.somt.org/raffle/ and click “Buy your tickets now.”
After you enter the number of tickets you want, there will be a question about where you heard about
the raffle. Enter the team name Belgrade Schools. Tickets can be purchased until May 14, 2020 and
the drawing will be held live on Facebook on May 15, 2020.
-Students wanting to pay for AP exams may bring payment to the school Monday-Friday from 8:00am 4:00pm at the main office.

If you choose to pay via mail please include a note indicating all AP tests you are paying for. The
deadline for payment has been extended to Friday, May 29nd. If you have any questions in regards to
payment, dates, technological needs, or any other area please contact Bert Horsley at 924-2540.

Thanks again for helping us with Distance Learning. We do understand that this is tough for all of our families
