Teachers: How to Schedule an Appointment with the School Nurse

Calendar/Schedule icon   Please schedule an appointment with your school Nurse.

 

  1. Click the image/link up above.
  2. Please use the blue Google Login button, using your bsd44 information. (see example image below)
    • Blue Google Log In Button- this is an example, not an actual log in.
  3. Pick a time that is not: (see example image below)
    • Dark Grey - meaning time slot has passed/not useable.
    • Light Grey - meaning time slot is available for an appointment.
    • Red - meaning time is filled by another user.
    • Example of scheduler color schemes: Dark Grey, Grey, and Red
  4. Please fill in the appropriate information.
    • Purpose/Description - Who needs medical assistance?  Their symptoms?
    • Medical Assistance You Provided? - Did you already take a medical course of action with the student?
    • Instructions - Leave blank.
  5. Click "Request" when done. (see example image below)
    • The Blue Request button- this is an example, not an actual request submission.
  6. Let the browser load (ignore the LDAP login screen you'll see - there are behind the scenes commands being done) and you will then see a success screen.

Teachers: What Happens After Scheduling?

  • Your schools nurse/aide/sub will get a notification of your time slot appointment.
  • Once your schools nurse approves/denies your appointment you will receive an email from the following:
    • Subject line: Response to Resource Request
      • Sender: Resource Request <customers@email.schoolpointe.com>
        • This email lets you know your request has been approved/denied and sends you a copy of your request.  You will also be able to follow the link within the email to your request to make additional comments to it if needed.
    • If you do not see this email please check your SPAM folder or login manually to check the status of your request.

Teachers: How Do I Login Manually to Check My Appointment?

  • You can log in manually to check the status of your request.
    • Log in manually to check requests.
      • Please use the blue Google button to log in once the page loads. (see example image below)
      • Blue Google Log In Button- this is an example, not an actual log in.
      • Use your bsd44.org information to log in.
      • Once logged in you should see your calendar view.
        • Calendar View - shows you all the requests that have been approved (green), pending/needing action (blue), or denied (red)
          • You can click into an appointment from here to interact with it.
      • You can use the calendar view (as listed above) to interact with your requests or you can use the left hand menu to click on "Requests" then "Nurse Requests" (see example image below)

      • After clicking "Nurse Requests" you'll see a list of all your requests you've scheduled.
        • From this view you can see a quick summary of:
          • Start/End Time
          • The ability to update/edit/etc that appointment.

Teachers: How Do I Add an Image to My Appointment?

If you need to add an image to your appointment:

  • Please get to your scheduled appointment through your confirmation email OR manually log in (see Teachers: How Do I Log In Manually to Check My Appointment?)
  • Find the appointment needing the image and click on it.
  • At the bottom of the appointment request you will find a paperclip symbol (see example image below)
    • Paperclip icon- this is an example, not an actual attachment.
  • Click the paperclip.
  • Click on the blue "Browse/Upload File" button. (see example image below)
    • Blue Browse/Upload File button- this is an example, not an actual upload.
  • From there find where your image is located on your device, select it, and click "Open".
  • Wait for a moment as your image is attached and you will see it added to your appointment as:
    • File(s): [your file name here]
      • You and the nurses/aides/subs at your school will have access to this file.

 

 

 

Nurses: How Do I Login to Approve a Request?

You should see an email in your bsd44.org email account 

  • Subject line: New Request for School Nurse - Middle School
    • Sender: New Request for School Nurse - Middle School <customers@email.schoolpointe.com>
  • From this email you will be able to see:
    • Who sent the request.
    • What time slot was chosen.
    • All of the information they provided about the student.
    • A link for you to approve or deny their request.
      • Please make sure to approve/deny all requests.

If you do not see an email?

  • Please check your SPAM folder.

Nurses: How Do I Add an Image to a Request?

If you need to add an image to a Teachers Request:

  • Please manually log in (see Nurses: How Do I Log In to Approve a Request?)
  • Find the request needing the image and click on it.
  • At the bottom of the request you will find a paperclip symbol (see example image below)
    • Paperclip icon- this is an example, not an actual attachment.
  • Click the paperclip.
  • Click on the blue "Browse/Upload File" button. (see example image below)
    • Blue Browse/Upload File button- this is an example, not an actual upload.
  • From there find where your image is located on your device, select it, and click "Open".
