Dear BSD Parents and Guardians:
The new school year is quickly approaching and the Food Service department is busy preparing for our students to arrive! Please take a moment to review some important information that will help you in understanding what food service information is available to you.
Starting this school year 2022-2023, the District will be participating in the School Breakfast and National School Lunch Program, which means Free Meals are no longer available. You are highly encouraged to apply for the Free/Reduced application, available through Infinite Campus,
Food Service is transitioning the student accounts from My School Bucks to Infinite Campus. So through Infinite Campus, you will be able to view student’s account information and view what purchases have been made. Like with any software transitions, there will be hurdles to make it a smoother system.
All prior year balances have been transferred into your student’s current Infinite Campus account. You can also add funds into the account through Infinite Campus.
Any A La Carte purchases, your student’s account must be in good standing. Please make every effort to monitor your student’s account balance.
The District menu is available on the school website, as well as any other food service related information.
If your student has allergies to any foods, a letter must be submitted to your school’s health office and we will work with you to take all the precautions available to secure your student’s safety.
The food service team remains committed to providing your student a well balanced, nutritious, and high quality meal. Feedback for any school nutrition site is encouraged and appreciated.
