Tomorrow our community will be honoring Deputy Mason Moore. The funeral procession will cause traffic delays and will limit access to Saddle Peak Elementary and Belgrade Middle School as Jackrabbit will be closed from Main Street to Cruiser Lane from approximately 8:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Parents are encouraged to drop students off by 8:15 A.M. tomorrow to alleviate traffic congestion. There is also a slight chance that there may be delays when picking up at dismissal.
Belgrade Public Schools believes in supporting the safety and emotional well-being of our students and staff. We will show our support for Deputy Moore by decorating our fences along Jackrabbit with banners of support and by encouraging both staff and students to wear blue on Tuesday. We will also provide extra counseling and support for any students or staff struggling with this tragedy. Because we believe participation in this event should be left to our families, we are asking that parents choosing to share this day’s events with their children please check them out at the school office. ...
