Montana University System Honors Scholarship & STEM – $4,000 renewable each year for 4 years – (

Governors Best and Brightest Scholarship – $2,000 per year up to 4 years (

Montana University System STEM Scholarship – $1,000 freshman year and $2,000 sophomore year (

Youth Serve Montana Scholarship – $1,000 for students who have volunteered at least 100 hours (

Reach Higher Montana Scholarship – $1,000 for incoming MT resident freshmen


Montana State University – Bozeman

Presidential Scholarship – full tuition waiver for 4 years and living stipend


Premier Scholarship – for MT resident incoming freshmen.  One time or renewable scholarships ranging from $1,000-$10,000 (

Academic Department scholarships available like College of Letters and Science, College of Engineering and University Studies – check individual websites

Montana State University – Billings

MSU – Billings Scholarship – for incoming freshmen.  Amounts range from $200 to full tuition waiver.


Chancellors Excellence Scholarship – for incoming freshmen.  Awarded $4,000 per year renewable up to 4 years.


University of Montana – Missoula

Freshman Scholarship – awarded after student is accepted for admission UM Scholarship application for other departmental scholarships

Billings Clinic Healthcare Scholarship – MT and WY colleges only

Bozeman Health Deaconess Healthcare Scholarship

Belgrade School Foundation – apply on-line at

Big Sky Wind Drinkers – for high school cross country and track athletes – $1,000 one-time non-renewable

Davis Business Machines Scholarship – for Belgrade and Bozeman seniors majoring in Business, Marketing or Computer Science – $1,000 one-time non-renewable

Hispanic Scholarship Fund –

Treacy Foundation – $2,000 per year for 4 years

Youth Serve Montana – for MT residents attending a MT college with 1,000 hours community service within past year

Horatio Alger National and State Scholarship – $10,000

Montana Community Foundation/ T. Eugene Young STEM – 20 scholarships of $2,500 each

Montana State Elks Association Music Scholarship – for students majoring or minoring in music performance or music education
