- Tuesdays: Breakfast Bread
- Wednesdays: Breakfast Bar
- Thursdays: Breakfast Bread
- Fridays: Cook's Choice
Breakfast bread can include bagels; loaves such as banana or zucchini; breakfast cookies. All grains are whole grain or enriched grain. Bars and cold cereal are whole grain or enriched grain.
Breakfast in the classroom has been proven to be one of the most effective strategies for increasing participation in the school breakfast program.
It is an opportunity to incorporate social and emotional learning for younger students into their school day. Sharing a meal together with fellow peers and teachers provides social bonding time. Please order breakfast for your student(s) with their Elementary school teacher.
