SUN Meals To-Go Summer 2025
SUN Meals To-Go are part of the USDA Summer Food Program, and are sponsored by Montana Office of Public Instruction. This program is fully funded by the USDA.
Children 18 and under are eligible for summer meals. SUN Meals are free to all children and help your kids get the nutrition they need all summer long.
The Belgrade School District will manage two sites this year. Dates of operation will be available soon.
Site #1: Saddle Peak Elementary School - Dine-in Breakfast and Grab ‘n Go lunch, available Monday – Thursday.
Site #2: River Rock Pond - Meal Packs, available Mondays and Thursdays from July 7 through August 14. Each Meal Pack will have the ingredients needed to prepare breakfast and lunch for multiple days.
Meal Packs are new to us this year. Everything needed to prepare the multi-day meals will be included, along with instructions on how to prepare those items, and instructions on how to safely store the ingredients. Pantry items and refrigerated items would be packed separately. A 3-day menu might look like this:

There is no income requirement for SUN Meals To-Go and children do not need to be registered students at Belgrade Schools to participate.
There is no sign up for Saddle Peak SUN Meals To-Go. These meals are to be picked up by the children. Adult meals will be available for a small fee.
Pre-registration is required for the Meal Packs that will be distributed at the River Rock Pond. Meal Packs must be picked up by adults. Click here to register for River Rock meals.
