Welcome from the Director of Information Technology
The mission of the Information Technology Division is to deliver high-quality, innovative and secure technology services and solutions to the Belgrade School District which enable the District’s strategic goals and objectives through the effective deployment and management of technology. Here are some of the items we’ve been working on recently:
- Relocated the IT department to the district's new administrative space at City Hall
- Deployed enhanced endpoint security protection across district devices, backed by 24/7 security monitoring
- Delivered 600 new Chromebooks to Belgrade High School
- Continued modernizing network infrastructure, with wireless and switching upgrades across multiple buildings
- Strengthened account security and access management district-wide
- Published a refreshed AI Guidebook and delivered AI literacy training for staff
As we look ahead, the Information Technology Division will continue to focus on tech needs as they arise, while at the same time aligning our efforts to advance other critical activities that target:
- safe and secure on-line learning environment for students,
- institutional growth and innovation in the classroom (teaching and learning),
- efficiency and affordability in the District’s Information Technology,
- aligning with the strategic objectives of the Belgrade School District.
